He is growing thinner and pale. Since he is a diabetic he is easily bruised with marks up and down his arms and has fallen, reopening the already wound on his hand. He bleeds so easily. He seemed in good spirits but was a little downhearted about not being able to do the things he once could.
He used to spend most of his time outdoors working on something that had to do with his farm. Because of the cold and the breathing machine, he hasn't been able to venture out. It is difficult for the three of us to see him like this and not knowing what will happen tomorrow because we aren't there.
He watches another farmer work the land that he used too with so much pleasure, I know it troubles him. I think not farming like he used to, has dragged him down. It had always been his life, working with his son,his brother and his dad to farm that had been in the family for generations (he is the only one that remains.) I do pray for his strength and for those around him, like his family and friends to keep encouraging him to get through each day, knowing he is loved.
May God bless him always.
