My Little Track Runner!

My daughter, who everyone knows, has been battling Anorexia and is doing a whole lot better ( I believe I know why and he knows who he is!, Mr New England....) I can't be more encouraged by her progress.  I still have to keep an eye on her to make sure she is eating enough.  She loves those "Cliff" bars and with the orders from her doctor at Children's with any sort of activity, she has to eat one of them to put in the calories.
She is now in Track Conditioning, basically warm-up exercises a hour after school.  She had a choice too , Art or Gym, she couldn't do track and gym both, so she is taking art.  Much to my delight, of course because she is very creative.
When art is done, she has signed up for German.
After Track, I have to go pick her up like the other parents, with one unique exception..Murphy, the dog, who makes his presence  known by barking at everyone, and deafening me even more in the process..the drawback with a small car "The Old Fart."
I always laughed at my aunts and my mom both when they growled about "Old Men and Old Dogs.''  and ''Old Ladies and Cats.''  It seemed funny at the time and boy doesn't time caught up with all of us.
I never heard them say anything about "Old Moms and Old Dogs"  Oh well, who said I followed the crowd.
Anyway, I shouldn't call my daughter "Little" she is thin, that's for sure But she towers over her mother.  I am proud of her and my son who is in ROTC.
I just love "Bragging Rights.''
