She's Improving!

The whole illness of anorexia is a scary one for parents, as a single parent, it is especially difficult.  My son and I have been given encouragement with my daughter's battle.  I know I can feel the presence of God through all your prayers and I thank you.
My daughter is improving everyday and is beginning to get back to eating normally.  She is still thin but she is getting stronger.  She is looking forward to going into track and working with her uncle.  She is taking therapy and seeing her doctor at Children's Hospital.   I know we aren't out of the woods completely but I have felt the love and support from my friends and family.
For Christmas, I got her a violin and she has played it since, learning about it.  She still plays her saxophone too.  In fact she and her cousin want to play music together someday.  Her on violin and him on the piano.
I get inspired from her progress and wonder if my writing my blog is helping, knowing that you are out there thinking, praying and pulling for us.
We are still going and I know my daughter is so very appreciative of the love , kindness and understanding she has got, it has helped so much!  I know too this will be an awesome year for all of us, particularly for her!
    My love to you!
