Believe it or not, that isn't a record temperature . Only 2 degrees shy of that.. My central air unit struggled through the furnace and didn't work because the fan wasn't pushing the cold air out, better now than latter on this summer. My daughter did well against Dempsey, jumped 11 foot. Her eye contact's did make a difference. The girls track team is still undefeated but the boys faltered against Dempsey.
The day started early as I had to take my dog Murphy in for Rabies and Distemper shots. He has had an ongoing ear infection problem for about three years that has almost sealed his ear canal up. So once again he is on antibiotics. The other alternative is surgery.. Which can cost up to Two-thousand dollars, which isn't an option on a fixed budget, so with some aspirin and antibiotics , hopefully it will relieve some of the pain..
Otherwise, he does real well and still his ornery-old .dog self.
My daughter had an eye appointment to check her contacts to make sure how they are working out, which is good. She is now getting interested in trying out for Basketball next year too along with track, she is now about 5''7. My son went fishing with his friends and I finished tonight by making taco's
On May 13th my daughter will get an academic award from Shanahan Middle School for her grades. I was so amazed. I thought about the date because it sounded so familiar to me. I know that date, Schizz's beloved late father , Charles, birthday is the 13th. I can remember Sir Anthony mentioned how much his father had influenced his life. Getting after him once about missing too much school. His dad was always working hard and furthering his education. It is funny how life just brings us back to those we love and care about. I think in some way, even though we didn't know him, my daughter would make him proud on his birthday, she earned a wonderful award celebrating education. I think Schizz would be proud too.
Schizz is such an inspiration for us, thank you! Love you so much!
Murphy
