What an amazing life it had been, he and his sister Nell played guitars on the radio . A regular on The Arthur Godfrey show ,he played with The Sons Of The Pioneers and knew Roy Rogers.
I knew Uncle Frank and Aunt Bonnie as really wonderful kind people all my life. After I moved back down here to Delaware and after my great Aunt Bonnie's death , it wasn't uncommon for the kids and I to bump into him at the store and be greeted with a smile. It also wasn't a family reunion without having Uncle frank there.
Truly amazing and talented he was, a World War II Veteran for The Air Corps, flying in the Pacific. After my grandmother's death (His sister) we all became even closer. Although I never shared his birthday like I did my grandma, he did share the same month and would have turned 92 this November. He too loved St. Patrick's Day, celebrating his Irish heritage with great joy. A sweet and Loving man, I'm going to miss him,
Love you Uncle Frank, I am sure you are playing your music in heaven with your sisters by your side.
