I can remember Gary being upset with taking pictures of family members in the hospital, especially his own father-in-law, now here he is being put on Facebook. I can't really believe that anyone would enjoy their picture being taken in the hospital when they are ill. Not what I call a photo-opportunity.
I have to say it bothers me. Why my late husband's mother Pat, does it, I don't know. Over the years I have seen and have been sent some rather, upsetting and strange photos from her. The main set being of my husband's funeral, that is naming one time out of many.
Back in 1976, my grandmother Sarah, passed away at the same hospital that Gary is in now, perhaps maybe knowing that gets me somewhat down. I can truly say that the only happy experience I have ever had in a hospital setting, has been when my children was born.
The other times, no so much.
I guess we all have those certain memories we would like to erase in our minds, all I know is, I like to see the pictures of people ,especially the ones I love, coming out of the hospital, at home, happy and healthy. Big smiles and a twinkle in their eyes.
Those are the best ones.
Lets keep it that way.
